With the release of version 7.0, the Bosch IoT Remote Manager (formerly ProSyst mPRM) has extended its off-the-shelf device connectivity capabilities with support for HTTP/REST- and MQTT-based protocols.
As of this latest release, ProSyst mPRM has been integrated in the Bosch IoT Suite, Bosch’s software platform for the Internet of Things. Thus, the product has been rebranded as Bosch IoT Remote Manager.
Bosch IoT Remote Manager 7.0 supports a wider range of protocols and provides new features to improve system performance and maintenance. The new features include:
- Support for MongoDB as an alternative to relational DB for the storage of device data. This database option ensures better performance when dealing with a large number of devices.
- Support for REST/HTTP- and MQTT-based protocols, which can manage custom device types.
- Enhanced maintenance, monitoring, and diagnostic functions.
